The Crooklands Hotel Bar and Restaurant
Things To Do
You will find plenty of things to see and do within easy reach of the Crooklands Hotel especially when it comes to playing golf in Cumbria. The area boasts a number of excellent courses including Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal, Windermere and Grange. All of these courses can be reached within a short drive of the hotel.
Just a few miles away from the Hotel you will find Holmescales Activity Centre where you can take part in a wide range of outdoor activities including horse riding, paint balling, off roading 4x4, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting and archery.
Trout and Carp Fishing at the Farleton View fly fishing lakes, is easily arranged with Simon Robinson.
We are also located within walking distance from Westmorland County Show ground, which holds many events throughout the year.
Not forgetting the Lake District national Park which has some of most beautiful scenery in the UK.
For those environmentally concious guests, there are great local walks and cycle routes, more details can be found at reception. And for those who don't want to travel or walk very far, just across the road is the Lancaster Canal which you can explore on foot. Cycles can be stored securely in our on-site bike shed overnight.

Customer Comments
"We just wanted a single night (& that's hard to find in Cumbria in the summer) & Crooklands couldn't have been better. A mile from the M6, 30' from Windermere & en route for North Yorkshire."
